• Storage and Friction Defense: Always store loose stones in individual compartments, vacuum-sealed bags, or dedicated gemstone trays with padding. Although a Mohs 8.5 rating guards against daily wear, storing stones loose in a single bag can cause stone-on-stone friction, potentially chipping sharp facet edges.

• Bench Cleaning Post-Setting: After hand-setting or automated micro-pave casting, stones can collect fingerprints, wax residue, or polishing compounds. • Chemical Exposure during Assembly: Our stones feature a highly stabilized atomic matrix that will not react with typical jewelry manufacturing acids, pickles, or pickling solutions. However, avoid exposing the gems to hydrofluoric acid, which can etch the crystalline surface.
